Portland cement is a product of heat fusion by mixing lime, silica, alumina and iron oxide. During the heating process, dicalcium silicate, tricalcium silicate, tricalcium aluminate and Iron-containing solid solution are formed. X-ray diffractometer can provide the percentage of various phase contents in mature cement. According to the result, the parameters of the kiln can be monitored and adjusted to ensure product quality.
